Kizy ("we", "us") is operated by Arslan Assankulov, an individual developer based in Kazakhstan. This policy explains what data Kizy collects, why, where it goes, and how you can delete it.

What we collect

  • Display namethe name you provide at onboarding, so Kizy can address you.
  • Your goalthe goal title, why it matters to you, and its target date.
  • Chat messageseverything you and Kizy say to each other.
  • Check-in and commitment historyrecords of your daily check-ins, commitments, and streaks, derived from your conversations.
  • Push notification tokena device token issued by Apple so we can send you your daily check-in.
  • Timezone and preferred check-in timeso your check-in arrives when you chose.

We do not collect: location, contacts, photos, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or anything from other apps. Kizy contains no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

How your data is used

  • To deliver the core product: proactive daily check-ins that reference your specific goal and history.
  • To generate Kizy's responses. Your messages and goal context are sent to OpenAI (our AI provider) to classify and generate replies. Per OpenAI's API data usage policies, API data is not used to train their models.
  • To retrieve relevant history: your messages are converted into embeddings (numerical representations) so Kizy can recall relevant past conversations when responding.
  • To schedule and send your daily push notification via Apple Push Notification service.
  • To send you sign-in (magic link) emails via Resend, our email delivery provider.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below, and only to the extent required to run the product.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in a Supabase (Postgres) database hosted in the European Union (eu-central-1, Frankfurt). Access is restricted at the database level so that each user can only access their own data.
