These terms govern your use of the Kizy iOS app and the kizy.app website, operated by Arslan Assankulov ("we", "us"). By using Kizy, you agree to them.

What Kizy is (and isn't)

Kizy is an AI accountability coach. It sends you proactive check-ins about a goal you define, references your history, and deliberately challenges your excuses. By design, its tone is direct and confrontational about your commitments — that's the product. If you want a cheerleader, Kizy is the wrong app.

Kizy is not a medical, psychological, therapeutic, financial, or professional advice service. Its messages are AI-generated motivational content about goals you chose. Do not rely on Kizy for health decisions or as a substitute for professional care. AI-generated content can be imperfect or wrong.

Your account

You sign in with your email via magic link. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you provide and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Kizy. You can delete your account at any time in the app (see our Privacy Policy at https://kizy.app/privacy).

Subscription

Kizy is free to download and offers an auto-renewable monthly subscription with a 3-day free trial. After the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically each month and is charged to your Apple Account unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). All billing is handled by Apple; refunds are governed by Apple's policies and requested through Apple.

License

Use of the Kizy iOS app is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms supplement that EULA; where they conflict regarding the app, the Standard EULA controls.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data; don't use Kizy for anything unlawful; don't use the AI chat to generate or solicit harmful content.

Availability and changes

Kizy is an MVP-stage product run by a solo developer. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may modify or discontinue features. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer and liability

Kizy is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Kizy is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
